Research Paper Assignment
Students will research and write a 4–5 page paper, minimum 300 words, APA Format, on two of the following topics:
- How bacterial and viral infections are treated differently—and why
- What antibiotics treat and how they work
- Antibiotic resistance and how it develops
- How specific viruses transfer from one species (host) to another
Your paper should include the following:
A) A summary of your chosen topic
B) The signs and symptoms of infection related to your example (either a virus or bacterial infection)
C) Any additional interesting or relevant information you discover during your research
Be sure to:
- Use a minimum of 2 credible sources
- Cite your references properly (APA format)
- Follow proper grammar, spelling, and formatting guidelines
